What's new
Here are the official release notes for your first beta, formatted in Markdown so you can paste them directly into the GitHub "New Release" description. 🚀 EternalRichPresence v1.0.0-beta
The official Discord Rich Presence bridge for Apple Music and Spotify. Created by Ali Younes (@whoisaldo).
This is the first Beta release of EternalRichPresence! This tool allows you to broadcast your music status with live album art and enables a unique "Listen Along" bridge that works across different platforms. ✨ Key Features
Apple Music & Spotify Support: Seamlessly broadcast your "Now Playing" status from both services to Discord.
Live Cover Art: Automatically extracts and uploads album artwork via catbox.moe to provide a high-fidelity look on your Discord profile.
The "Listen Along" Bridge: A unique cross-platform feature. If you are on Apple Music, your friends on Spotify can click "Join" to sync playback to their own Spotify account at the exact same timestamp.
Lightweight System Tray: Runs silently in the background with a simple right-click menu for status and debugging.
🛠️ How to Use (Beta)

Initial Setup: On the first launch, the app will generate a config.py file.

Windows may warn about an unrecognized app — that's because the build isn't code-signed yet. Here's why, and how to verify the download.
How the download stays current
One source of truth. Tag a release on GitHub, CI builds the exe, and the site reads it back through the GitHub API — version, notes, and the file all update on their own.
- Every prior version stays on the releases page
- Release notes come straight from the changelog
- Checksums published for every build
A status that's actually in tune.
Real cover art
The actual album artwork on your profile — extracted live and uploaded for Discord to show, not a generic icon.
Listen Along
Friends click Join and follow your track in real time — across services, so a Spotify listener can ride along with Apple Music.
Every player
Apple Music and Spotify out of the box, plus anything that reports to Windows media controls — browsers, foobar, more.
Out of the way
A quiet system-tray app with a negligible footprint. No window to babysit, no account, no subscription.
Running in three steps.
No account, no installer wizard. The first launch walks you through it.
Create a Discord app
Spin up a free application in the Discord Developer Portal and copy its Client ID. We'll show you exactly where to click.
Paste it in setup
Launch the app, drop in your Client ID, and optionally connect Spotify. That's the whole configuration.
Play something
Start a track in Apple Music or Spotify. Your Discord profile lights up with the cover, the title, and the progress.
Built in the open
Spotted a bug, want another music source, or have an idea? Issues and pull requests are welcome — the whole thing is source-available on GitHub.
Put your music on your profile.
Download once, configure in a minute, forget it's running. It just keeps your status honest.
